We recently had the privilege of having Danny Rubin give our members a workshop on Content Writing. Danny started a site called News To Live By, which helps millennials find ways to be better at their jobs.  From networking to interviewing, to emailing etiquette, to leadership and public speaking. Danny has created the one-stop place for all millennials to start bettering their careers right now.

1. Gives you what you need in an easy to understand manner

Rather than ambiguous articles about how to dominate your job interview that sound like they’re teaching you something, but actually are just fluffed up paragraphs of buzzwords, the content on NTLB is clear and concise. There’s nothing hidden, no mumbo-jumbo to sift through to glean the info you want. It’s all right in front of you.

2. Free Templates!

For things like cover letters, resumes, objective statements, LinkedIn summaries and other universal documents that all millennials are expected to have, NTLB provides templates and guides you through exactly how to put together the best work that’ll help you stand out among the masses. With everything catered to helping you succeed, reading the content on the site can feel like you have a personal career coach helping you get through all sorts of tasks.

3. Speaks in the millennial language

News To Live By doesn’t produce vague, generalize content looking to satisfy a wide array of clientele. Each article is written precisely with the millennials in mind, helping to alleviate the problems faced the most by that generation. The advice your grandfather gave you about nailing your job interview probably isn’t relevant anymore. But NTLB knows what type of obstacles today’s business landscape garners, and helps you get through them!

4. Actionable

The best part about this site is that it provides you with projects and tasks that you can get started on immediately! Step-by-step. On just about anything you could need to learn about in the world of business. From baby steps to giant leaps, NTLB gives you the whole 9 yards. The stuff you’ll learn from this site will help develop a long-lasting path in your career, but with actions, you can take right now.
